The "Quay" series explores time and the natural cycle between chaos and tranquility. Each piece in the series shot chronologically within seconds of each other, yet each represents a vastly different feeling and visual experience of subject. My work aims to focus on the hidden emotion and subjective personal experience of unique fragments of time. I believe that the transience of light is what defines these moments, and by focusing on their foundational visual elements, we begin to see the world as a constantly changing palette of light and color.
